Santo Domingo.- Anti-money laundering officials and Anticarcotics (DICAN) agents seized 325 packets of a white powder presumably cocaine or heroin during a raid at a residence located in Los Jardines del Sur, in the National District.
According to the preliminary report, in the first room the agents found six boxes containing 125 packages of the alleged narcotic substance, while 175 packages were found in the second room.
The other 25 packages appeared in a hidden compartment when the agents searched a Toyota Lexus SUV. The report said one person has been arrested so far.
