American Airlines marks 15 robust years at Punta Cana, Santiago

Santo Domingo. – American Airlines this month celebrates 15 years of uninterrupted operations at Punta Cana and Santiago airports in the Dominican Republic.

During the high season the airline operates more than 70 weekly flights from Punta Cana International Airport (east) and 14 weekly flights from the Cibao International Airport (central), which connect its customers with about 350 destinations in more than 50 countries.

“American Airlines country CEO Oliver Bojos expressed the enormous satisfaction and commitment that American to these places, which it considers to be among the region’s most important. American is proud to have taken root in the Dominican Republic,” the executive said.

“we have robust operations in Santiago and Punta Cana, where we have been able to contribute positively to the development of tourism and businesses in these two important destinations,” Bojos added.
