Except natural gas, all fuel prices climb a 2nd straight week

Santo Domingo.- The Industry and Commerce Ministry on Friday posted higher prices on most fuels for the week from July 22 to 28, when premium gasoline will cost RD$208.30, and regular goes to RD$195.20, both RD$2.00 higher per gallon.

Regular diesel will cost RD$145.00, or RD$3.00 higher; optimum diesel will cost RD$157.60, or RD $2.50 more; avtur will cost RD$108.90, or RD$3.50 higher; kerosene will cost RD$133.00, and fuel oil will cost RD$96.05, the latter two RD$3.00 more per gallon.

Propane gas will cost RD$101.00, or RD$2.00 more per gallon, while natural gas remains unchanged at RD$28.97 per cubic meter.

The Dominican Central Bank’s posted average exchange rate of RD$47.56 per dollar was used to calculate all fuel prices.
