Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina Thurs. night said the talks between representatives of the Venezuelan Govt. and the opposition advance favorably.
“Yesterday the meeting was good, today was better,” said the president referring to the second day of talks between the delegation representing Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro and opposition leaders, to resolve the political crisis that South American country.
After the meeting with both sides which lasted 10 hours, Medina said the parts agreed to form a commission of countries of the region to provide follow up for the dialogue that is taking place in the Dominican capital. Mexico, Chile, Bolivia and Nicaragua figure among the countries that would form the commission.
Medina added that two more nations may join the process in the coming days.
