Dominican tourism market boasts a relaunched Puerto Plata Village

Santo Domingo.- Puerto Plata Village, one of the pioneering hotels in Playa Dorada, on Monday announced the re-launch of its operations in the Dominican tourism market after extensive renovation of its Victorian-style facilities.

In a breakfast for the press and travel agents, general manager Angelica Cocco said the innovations incorporated into the 4-star resort meet the highest international standards, especially the rooms, gastronomy and social areas. “At a time when Puerto Plata is positioned as the fastest growing destination of 2017, Puerto Plata Village is preparing to offer the best of a sun and beach destination, with everything you need to enjoy a vacation as a couple or as a family.”

The executive said  the 377-room hotel has renovated and equipped social areas with all the facilities that guests require to enjoy their stay, including beach club, swimming pools, a popular nightclub, a kids club, two a-la-carte restaurants and buffet services for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

She said the all-inclusive resort features special facilities for the elderly and the disabled and a properly equipped event and convention room for up to 500 people.

Also presented during the activity was the new season of Puerto Plata’s Ocean World Adventure Park, including attractive pastime offers, shows of marine animals and the famous revue, Bravísimo.
