To prevent crimes during the holidays, 26,923 police to the streets

Santo Domingo.- To prevent crimes during the holidays 26,923 police officers were ordered to the streets on Mon. as part of the “Safe Christmas Plan 2017.”

The National Police and the ministries of the Interior and Police, and Defense launched the Plan in the front of National Police headquarters, where police director Ney Bautista, and Interior and Police minister, Carlos Amarante, instructed the officers and members of the military to be firm against crime.

“Safety is everyone’s commitment. We ask the Dominican people to be prudent this Christmas, and all those police and soldiers here and those who are not here, to work with integrity, with rectitude and with energy against the offender,” said Bautista.
