His boss won’t seek a 3rd term so Environment chief says he’ll run

Santo Domingo.- Environment minister Francisco Domínguez on Thurs. announced he’ll run for President in the 2020 election for the ruling party, PLD.

The official said he’s determined to follow the work carried out by president Danilo Medina, whom he affirms wontt seek a third term.

“I will be honored to continue the work that President Danilo Medina and the governments of the PLD have developed,” the official said.

Domínguez had unsuccessfully sought the PLD presidential candidacy in the 2012 election, competing with Medina.
