El Nuevo Diario competes for Web journalism prizes

Santo Domingo.- El Nuevo Diario has been nominated in two categories of the National Digital Journalism Award, with awards set for  Nov. 21, sponsored by the Ministry of Youth and the Dominican Telecom Institute’s (INDOTEL) Cultural Center.

Moreover El Nuevo Diario TV is also among the candidates, in the category “best innovation project in digital media,” whereas El Nuevo Diario.com is nominated for the award as” best digital version of a printed newspaper.”

Accompanying El Nuevo Diario in the nominations for “best digital version of a printed newspaper” figure Listíndiario.com, ElDía.com, ElNacional.com, ElCaribe.com, Hoy.com.do, Metrord.com.do and DiarioLibre .com

The Dominican Digital Media Observatory announced the list of nominees for the prizes in the various categories.
