Diesel prices fall; gasoline, gases unchanged

Santo Domingo.- The Ministry and Commerce Industry on Fridayposted lower prices on some fuels, while others will remain unchanged for theweek from July 18 to 24, when premiumgasoline will RD$225.50 and regular RD$205.10 per gallon.

Premium diesel will cost RD$166.40; regular diesel at RD$158.40,or RD$4.70 less on both; optimum diesel will cost RD$177.50, or RD$5.00 lessper gallon.

Avtur will costRD$113.00, or RD$4.70 less; kerosene will cost RD$141.10, or RD$6.20 less andfuel oil will cost RD$ 94.13, or RD$2.90 less per gallon

Propane gas remains at RD$79.70 per gallon and naturalgas stays at RD$29.44 per cubic meter.

The Central Bank’s posted average exchange rate of RD$45.03per dollar was used to calculate all fuel prices.
