All liquid fuels to cost less, gases unchanged

Santo Domingo.- The Industryand Commerce Ministry on Friday posted lower prices on most fuels for the week fromDecember 12 to 18, when premium gasoline will cost RD$184.40, or RD$1.00 lessand regular gasoline will cost RD$166.90, or RD$1.00 less per gallon.

Optimum diesel willcost RD$140.90, or RD$5.30 less; regular diesel will cost RD$129.20, or RD$4.20less; avtur will cost RD$91.50, or RD$3.50 less; kerosene will cost RD$114.70,or RD$3.70 less and fuel oil will cost RD$65.42, or RD$6.06 less per gallon.

Propane gas will stillcost RD$81.00 per gallon and natural gas also remains unchanged, at RD$25.58per cubit meter.

The Dominican CentralBank´s posted average exchange rate of RD$45.53 per dollar was used tocalculate all fuel prices.
