Gasoline, diesel prices jump ; natural gas unchanged(Correct)

Santo Domingo.- The Industry andCommerce Ministry on Friday posted higherprices on most fuels for the week from April 16 to 23, when premium gasolinewill cost RD$186.40, or RD$2.50 more and regular gasoline will cost RD$167.10,an increase of RD$2.90 per gallon.

Optimum diesel will cost RD$140.70,an increase of RD$1.10; regular diesel will cost RD$125.80, or RD$1.80 higher;avtur will cost RD$87.50, or RD$1.70 higher, and kerosene will cost RD$110.20,an increase of RD$1.60 per gallon.

Fuel oil will cost RD$65.44, or RD$1.94more and propane gas will cost RD$86.60 per gallon, or RD$1.00 per gallon,while natural gas remains unchanged at RD$23.22 per cubic meter.

The Dominican Republic CentralBank’s average posted exchange rate of RD$45.86 per dollar was used tocalculate all fuel prices.
