Gasoline, diesel climb a 4th straight week, propane falls

Santo Domingo.- The Industry and Commerce Ministry on Fridayposted higher prices on gasoline and diesel for the fourth straight week in effectfrom June 11 to 17, while natural gas and propane gas will cost less.

Premium gasoline will cost RD$205.70, a RD$2.10 jump; regulargasoline will cost RD$186.90, or RD$2.50 more; optimum diesel will cost RD$154.80,or RD$1.80 higher, and regular diesel will cost RD$142.20, or RD$2.30 more pergallon.

Avtur will cost RD$103.10, an increase of RD$1.10; kerosenewill cost RD$124.60, an increase of RD$2.50, and fuel oil will cost RD$77.91,an increase of RD$3.61 per gallon.

Propane gas (LPG) will cost RD$88.30, or RD$2.30 less per gallonwhile natural gas remains unchanged at RD$23.22 per cubic meter.

The Central Bank’s average posted exchange rate of RD$45.95per dollar was used to calculate all fuel prices.
