Honduras leader lauds Medina’s social projects

Santo Domingo.- PresidentDanilo Medina on Monday hosted Honduran leader Juan Hernandez to a tour of thelow income housing projects La Nueva Barquita, and Ciudad Juan Bosch amongother sites of social relevance.

Medina explained to Hernandez the details to develop thepublic-private partnership projects for such housing.

"We’re like a sponge absorbing a lot of information. I’vehad the opportunity to shake hands with many humble Dominicans who are happy,happy to participate in this new lifestyle,” the Honduran President said to congratulateMedina for the project.

“The principle of political philosophy that governs us,that we are all equal before God and before the law and men, also requires ofus to put the dignity of human beings first,” Hernandez said.

Agreement

Both countries are working on an advisory collaboration agreementthat includes the coffee and livestock sectors of the two nations, members of theCentral American Integration System (SICA).
