Gasoline, diesel fall a 2nd straight week, gases unchanged

Santo Domingo.- The Industry and Commerce Ministry on Fridayposted the fuel prices in effect from August 6 to 12, when gasolines and dieselfall for the second straight week.

Premium gasoline will cost RD$194.20, orRD$1.30 less; regular will cost RD$178.50, or RD$1.10 less; optimum diesel willcost RD$47.60, or RD$2.30 less and regular diesel will cost RD$134.30, orRD$2.30 less per gallon..

Avtur will cost RD$94.70, or RD$2.50 less; kerosenewill cost RD$117.90, or RD$2.60 less; fuel oil will cost RD$75.13, or RD$2.00lower, propane will still cost RD$87.20 per gallon, while natural gas alsoremains unchanged, at RD$23.22 per cubic meter.

The Central Bank’s postedaverage exchange rate of RD$46.03 per dollar was used to calculate all fuelprices.
