Natural gas stays put, all other fuels fall

Santo Domingo.- The Industry and Commerce Ministry on Friday posted the fuel prices for the week of March 11 to 17, when premium gasoline will cost RD$212.80, and regular RD$197.20, both RD$3.00 less per gallon.

Regular diesel will cost RD$153.00, or RD$2.00 less, optimum diesel will cost RD$164.60, or RD$3.00 lower; avtur will cost RD$115.90 or RD$2.00 less; kerosene will cost RD$141.00, or RD$3.00, while fuel oil will cost RD$97.30 or RD$1.50 less per gallon.

Propane gas will cost RD$100.50 per gallon, or RD$5.00 less while natural gas remains unchanged at RD$25.26 per cubic meter.

The Dominican Central Bank’s average posted exchange rate of RD$47.29 per dollar was used to calculate all fuel prices.
