Diesel, propane climb; gasoline, natural gas stay put

Santo Domingo.- The Industry and Commerce Ministry on Friday posted the fuel prices for the week from August 26 to September 1, when premium gasoline remains at RD$209.80 and regular at RD$195.70 gallon.

Avtur will cost RD$118.90, or RD$1.50 higher; kerosene will cost RD$143.75, or RD$1.25 more; fuel oil remains at RD$96.05; regular diesel will cost RD$150.00, or RD$1.00 more, and optimum diesel will cost RD$161.60, or RD$0. 50 more per gallon.

Propane will cost RD$107.30 per gallon, up RD$0.50, and natural gas remains unchanged at RD$28.97 per cubic meter.

The Central Bank’s posted average exchange rate of RD$47.60 per dollar was used to calculate all fuel prices.
