Sept. prices climb 0.64%, paced by non-alcoholic beverages

Santo Domingo.- Dominican Republic’s Central Bank on Tues. said Sept. prices climbed 0.64% compared with Aug., while accumulated inflation for the first three quarters stands at 2.42%.
It said annual inflation, from September 2016 to September 2017 was 3.80%, “near the value of the target range established in the Monetary Program for 2017 of 4.0% (± 1.0%).”
It said non alcoholic beverages, housing, and transport are the groups which most contributed to the higher prices.
