Airlines cancel 14 flights as snowstorm hammers eastern US

Santo Domingo.- Dominican airports management company  (Aerodom) on Thurs. said the snowstorm Grayson that hammers the eastern US, has prompted some airlines to cancel their operations today and tomorrow Friday, in New York, Boston and Newark through Las Americas, (AILA) and Puerto Plata international airports.

Aerodom  PR Yolanda Mañán said among the flights canceled Thursday, through AILA  figure JetBlue 2929, 830 and 2930 from and to Boston and 2909 from New York; United 1470, 1472 and 1473 of to and from Newark, and Delta 493, 487, 901 and 985 bound for New York City.she said for Puerto Plata, United flights 1486 and 1884 with origin and destination to Newark were affected.

Likewise, , the cancellation of United flight 1471, through AILA has been notified for Friday, Jan. 5.
