Gasoline up RD$3.00; no change to other fuel prices

Santo Domingo.- Both types of gasoline will be subject to a price increase of RD$3.00 per gallon for the week of January 20th – 26th, while all other fuel prices remain unchanged, according to the weekly update from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Small and Medium Companies.
The new gasoline prices are RD$232.30 per gallon for premium and RD$216.20 for regular, a RD$3.00 increase for both varieties.
Regular diesel remains at RD$175.50 per gallon, optimum at RD$188.60, aircraft fuel/avtur at RD$138.90 per gallon, the same as last week. Kerosene is still being sold for RD$165.30 and fuel oil remains at RD$112.85.
Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) is still being sold for RD$116.30 per gallon, while natural gas costs RD$28.97 per cubic meter, no change from last week.
The average exchange rate applied was RD$48.50, according to a survey conducted by the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic.
