June prices climb 0.21% paced by non-alcoholic beverages

Santo Domingo.- The Central Bank on Wed. said consumer prices June climbed 0.21% compared with May, while accumulated inflation stood at 1.43% for the first half.
It indicates that annualized inflation, from June 2017 to June 2018, was 4.63%, “within the target range of 4.0% ± 1.0% established in the Monetary Program.”
On its website, the Central Bank said the 0.34% climb in Non-Alcoholic Beverages had the most influence in the rise in prices.
