Immigration has 196,393 IDs ready for foreigners

Santo Domingo.- The Immigration Directorate has ready to issue 196,393 ID cards of the Plan to Regularize Foreigners, whose beneficiaries can go to its offices and retrieve them.

Of the total, 180,527 correspond to Nonresident Permit for Temporary Worker, 9,646 to Temporary Residence and 6,220 to Non-Resident Student Permit.

In a statement, Immigration warned that the deadline hasn’t been extended, “what was done was a reminder that in the interior it will be delivered until Wednesday, October 10,” which means that foreigners who registered in the interior will have to go to Immigration headquarters after that date.
