State bank’s tools seek more profitable SMEs

Santo Domingo.- The State-owned Reservas bank on Mon. announced tools and innovative alternatives for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to continue supporting the sustainable development of that sector.

During Reservas’ fourth Mipymes Week, organized by the Industry and  Commerce Ministry, together with specialists launched the interactive workshops that will help those companies identify innovative actions that contribute to profitability, growth and the creation of jobs, to raise the standard of living.

A specialized Reservas team presented the topics “How can SMEs innovate?” and “Tools to innovate.”

“The facilitators taught techniques and good practices that will allow SMEs to identify low-cost innovation processes and alternatives, considering the existing resources in companies to contribute to their stability and transformation into more competitive entities,” Reservas said in a statement.

The event held at the Hotel Dominican Fiesta from October 17 to 22, had as its central theme “Promoting Innovation in SMEs and Entrepreneurs.”
