Medina off to Mexico for Lopez Obrador’s inaugural

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina will depart  from San Isidro Airbase to Mexico Saturday morning to attend the inaugural of president Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

The Dominican Republic is the leading country in attracting Mexican investment with over US$7.0 billion, and the Caribbean’s second biggest tourist destination only after Mexico.

Among the major Mexico-based multinationals with investments  in the Dominican Republic figure TELMEX-América Móvil (Claro and Codetel), Palace Resorts Group,  Hard Rock Hotel Chain, CEMEX, and Advent (AERODOM).
