Press Release
Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Exporters Association (ADOEXPO) noted that this sector is one of the main sources of foreign exchange and contributions to the Treasury, generator of thousands of direct and indirect jobs and other important contributions considered invaluable for the productive sectors and the economic and social development of the nation.
ADOEXPO president, Luis Concepción, made the statement to mark on Saturday, June 15, its 47th anniversary and the National Day of the Exporter, established in 1991.
“On this occasion, when we proudly celebrate the 47th anniversary of our association, we believe it is appropriate to highlight the importance of exports, as well as to stimulate the sustained growth of these activities, in common agreement between the private, governmental and international organizations that regulate world trade.”
Concepción urged the Dominican business community to continue taking advantage of trade agreements and increase their exports to all countries with which there is preferential treatment and business opportunities for local manufacturing products and services.
“Exporters Excellence Awards”
ADOEXPO executive vice president, Odile Miniño Bogaert, said that the 47th anniversary coincides this month with the 33rd edition of the Export Excellence Awards 2019, on June 25, during the Great Dinner of the Dominican Exporter, in the Jaragua Hotel, from 7pm.
