Dominican peso depreciates the most in the last 4 years

Santo Domingo.- In 2019 the Dominican peso had depreciated the most against the US dollar during the last four years.

Until December 12, the peso had lost 5.22% of its value, according to data from the Central Bank.

In previous years the devaluation hasn’t been as intense: 3.84% in 2018, 2.99% in 2017 and 2.32% in 2016.
