Tuesday, February 27th “Independence Day” is not a working day

Santo Domingo – The Ministry of Labor reiterates to all the businesses and working community of the country that Tuesday, February 27, “Independence Day,” has not changed and, therefore, is not a working day.

The working class must return to their daily work on Wednesday, 28 of the same month, as established by Law 139-97, by applying holidays.

Following the provisions of the Dominican legislation, the celebration of these dates must be applied in all establishments of the country.
