Dominican Consulate in Orlando opens doors for US market entry

Orlando, Florida.- The Consulate General of the Dominican Republic in Orlando, Florida, has unveiled plans for the inaugural LATAM Orlando & Port Tampa Bay 2024 Trade Exchange Fair. This event aims to foster trade between Dominican producers and entrepreneurs and key players such as large distributors, supermarket chains, and wholesale buyers from Central Florida, USA.

Scheduled to take place from April 16 to 18 in Orlando and Tampa, Florida, the fair serves not only as a platform for commercial transactions but also as a venue for strategic meetings among Dominican and foreign business leaders from various economic sectors.

Highlighted sectors include agriculture, fresh and processed foods, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, technology, and aerospace. This trade exchange promises to serve as a vital hub for exploring new business opportunities in the North American market.

According to a press release from the Colombian consulate in Orlando, in collaboration with the commercial sections of the governments of Mexico and Colombia, a diverse range of regional products will be showcased to attract the discerning US market. Over 80 Mexican and Colombian companies and producers have confirmed their participation, underscoring the event’s significance and regional impact. Additionally, more than 30 Dominican companies are expected to join, ensuring a dynamic and varied environment ripe for business prospects.

Through tailored strategic meetings catering to the specific needs of products and entrepreneurs, participants will have the chance to forge valuable connections and explore potential business alliances in the lucrative American, Mexican, and Colombian markets.

The fair will encompass sectors such as fresh and processed foods, confectionery, bakery products, beverages, ethnic products, snacks, technological innovation, and aerospace.
