The government allocates more than 600 million pesos in subsidies for gasoline, diesel and LPG.

Santo Domingo – The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Mipymes (MICM) informed this Friday that in response to the recent increases in crude oil prices worldwide, the government has decided to continue subsidizing gasoline during the week of March 30 to April 5, 2024.

Politur should get involved in conjunction with environmental agencies to stop the illegal sale of gasoline and diesel in the touristic areas Juan dolio …los bancos de arena and boca chica.
Corrupted officials are ruining the water near the shore allowing oil spill and fuel spills thus contaminating the beach…..
What a shame.

You are making a statement that I don’t know if is true or false. Just remember that an individual does not need a government license to sell gasoline from their home by the gallons of bottles. And you know why, because they go to the gas station and buy it to resell it for a little profit. So I don’t see were is the fuel spill that you are talking about occurs.

This is very insulting for this government to be telling the Dominican people that they are subsidizing the gasoline and fuel oil to the public when it is not true. The government has not dedicated one penny to subsidize. A subsidized government product is when the they invest 100 and has to sell it for 99.
