COVID-19 deaths exceed 2,900

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Republic reached 2,904 official deaths caused by COVID-19 today Thursday by adding 21 new reported fatalities.

Public Health reports 1,242 new positive cases on 6,552 samples for the first time, which shows a positivity of 18.96%.

Active cases are 51,248 while the accumulated total is 226,714 cases since the start of the pandemic.
