Government and CMD agree on 25% salary increase for health workers
Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Medical Association (CMD), led by President Waldo Ariel Suero, has reached an agreement with the government to implement a 25% salary increase for health workers. The adjustment will be carried out in three stages to enhance the compensation and working conditions of medical personnel.
The first phase involves a 10% increase starting in January 2025, followed by another 10% in June 2025. The final 5% increase will take effect in January 2026. This structured approach aims to provide gradual financial improvements for health sector employees.
