No rain expected; small craft should stay close to shore

SANTO DOMINGO. – The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts little rain despite a high pressure system which continues to affect the country, generating a winds mostly from the east, with scattered showers weak rains for the northeast, southeast and Central Mountain regions.

It said little change is expected during the rest of the workweek.

But Onamet warns of active marine conditions for all the coasts, where it forecasts higher than normal waves, for which small craft should remain near shore.
