NEW YORK. – United States ambassador Raul Yzaguirre on Sunday said “he feels very Dominican and that the Caribbean island was one of the countries of reference when the American government offered him the diplomatic posit.

Yzaguirre, who founded the National Council on Race, one of the most prestigious American organizations which helps development projects in Hispanic communities, and has nationwide recognition as a fighter for civil rights and social advancement.

It’s Washington Bridge, in Upper Manhattan, on which we the immigrants arrived to this sector from New York, where we are gathered.”
