Agents arrest local fugitive at the San Juan Seaport

San Juan, Puerto Rico – US Customs and Border Protection officers identified Friday afternoon Octavio Germosen-Morla, 35, a citizen of the Dominican Republic, having an outstanding warrant for charges of cocaine possession, with the intent to sale, from Grand Junction, Colorado.

Mr. Germosen-Morla was encountered by San Juan Seaport Customs and Border Protection officers when attempting to board the M/V Caribbean Fantasy Ferry bound for Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

System checks revealed Mr. Germosen-Morla had an outstanding warrant from Grand Junction, Colorado, on charges of controlled substance violations. CBP officers confirmed the warrant from the Colorado Department of Corrections.

The custody of the subject was transferred to the Puerto Rico Police Department for extradition proceedings.
