All High court judges tapped before year end, Senate leaders says

SANTO DOMINGO. – The high courts’ Justices and their substitutes will be chosen before year end, affirmed National Magistrate Council member and Senate president Reinaldo Pared on Monday.

He also revealed that the election of the judges who seek Supreme Court, Superior Electoral Court and Constitutional Court benches will be conducted on the same day. “It has to be this year because as far as the Constitutional Court, as well as the Electoral Court, they have allocations in the budget already approved (2012)."

The also General Secretary of the ruling PLD party made his statements prior to the start of a Magistrate Council session to select the new justices.
