Fewer showers in the next 18 hours, north coast still under advisory

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts decreasing showers for the next 18 hours, as a cold front moves away from the country.

It said a frontal system moving over Cuba will reach the country Tuesday, increasing showers nationwide, mostly the North, Northwest, Central Cibao and Border Zone.

ONAMET also continues its advisories for the Atlantic Coast, the south part of Samaná Bay and the Mona Pass, where small craft should remain in port and swimmers should be aware of dangerous riptides in the beaches.
