Bogus doctor surrenders, faces fraud charges

Santo Domingo. – The National Police announced the arrest of 19 year old Francis Ciprián Arias Monday morning, charged with impersonating a doctor and of swindling several patients in Santiago’s Cabral y Báez hospital.

Via his Twitter account, Police spokesman Máximo Baez confirmed that Ciprián turned himself at the news network SIN.

On Sunday Public Health minister Bautisa Rojas revealed that Ciprián, an ex Army private, had surrendered Saturday night.
