Moderate to scattered showers nationwide from approahcing front

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office today forecasts significant rains over the entire territory in the next 24 to 48 hours, from a high pressure system located in the Atlantic, and a squall located northwest of Hispaniola island.

The high pressure system and the prevailing east-northeast wind continue dominating the weather, including widely scattered showers for the north, northeast, southeast and Central Mountains.

It said higher than normal waves continue along the Atlantic and Caribbean coasts, where small craft should remain near shore.
