Agents seize more than 213Ks of cocaine on ship headed to Spain

Santo Domingo.- The National Control Drugs Agency (DNCD) Monday night seized 210 packages of cocaine weighing more than 213 kilos, headed to Spain on a ship slated to set sail from Caucedo Multimodal Port, Boca Chica.

In a statement the DNCD said two men were arrested for taking the drug in a truck in seven olive drab duffel bags, in one of nine containers aboard the ship Valencia Express.

The DNCD said it arrested Felix Reyes Amador and Diómedes Antonio Diaz Beltrán, driver of the truck Kenworth, and also seized a package of container seals and the list of the containers to be loaded onto the freighter.
