Mild tamps continue, widely scattered showers possible

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) for Thursday forecasts widely scattered showers for the northeast, southeast and Central Mountains, brought by a weakening high pressure system, which along with the prevailing east-northeast wind continues to influence the weather.

It said temperatures will continue seasonably mild in the early morning and evening hours.

ONAMET also cautions small craft that the higher than normal surge continues along the Atlantic and Caribbean coasts, where boats should remain near shore.
