Low chance of rain, coastal advisories continue

Santo Domingo.- The high pressure system over the Atlantic coast continues to limit cloud formation and rain activity, but some widely scattered showers can be expected in the northeast, southeast and Central Mountains, from the prevailing east wind.

The National Meteorology Office forecasts low probability of rain activity for the next 24 to 48 hours, and continues its advisories of continuing dangerous surge in all of the country’s coasts.

It issued an advisory on the higher than normal winds and waves, for which small craft to remain in port along the Atlantic Coast; use caution in the Caribbean, and not venture out of Samaná Bay.
