Clear skies, calm surf, mild temps

SANTO DOMINGO. – A nearly-stationary frontal system over central Cuba will reach the north par of the island Tuesday night, bring widely scattered showers for some parts of the territory.

The National Meteorology Office forecasts low probability of rain during the next 24 to 48 hours, higher for the mountainous zones, with seasonably mild temperatures in the evening and early morning hours, from the prevailing East-Northeast wind.

It said there are no restrictions on navigation along all coasts today, but an increase in the Atlantic Coast surf is expected Wednesday, from an approaching frontal system.
