Clear skies, mild temperatures, high Atlantic waves

SANTO DOMINGO. – The frontal system has weakened and remains nearly stationary northeast of Puerto Rico, and the probability of rains over our territory are still low, the National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecast Wednesday.

It said however that a high pressure system located over the Atlantic Ocean has begun entering the country, which could bring widely scattered showers to the northeast, southeast and the Central Mountains.

ONAMET said slightly lower temperatures are expected during the early morning and evening hours, adding and small craft along the Atlantic coast should remain in port on higher than normal waves.
