Widely scattered showers, coastal advisories in effect

SANTO DOMINGO. – The prevailing northeast wind will bring partly cloudy skies and scattered showers to the northeast, southeast and the Central Mountains on Tuesday.
The National Meteorology Office forecasts widely scattered showers for Wednesday, mostly in afternoon hours.
It said higher than normal waves advisories are still in effect for the Atlantic coast, where small craft should remain in port, and shouldn’t venture out to sea in the Caribbean, by operating near shore.
