Another bust at major port: 760Ks of cocaine headed to Spain

SANTO DOMINGO. – The National Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) seized 755 packages of cocaine camouflaged as tobacco at Caucedo Port early Tuesday, headed to Spain.

It said it questions six men and one woman on the drugs worth millions, found in a container in the terminal at Boca Chica.

DNCD president Rolando Rosado said Rubén Ezequiel Gabriel, Juan Carlos Mojica, Yohana Alcántara, Alejandro Vizcaya Antonio Villar, Angel Domingo Jiménez, Wascar Alberto Familia Sanchez and Jose Manuel Alcántara Roa are being questioned in the agency’s offies in Santo Domingo Province.

“The prisoners were caught while introducing the drug into a container which had bundles of leaf tobacco headed to Spain,” the official said in a statement, adding that the cocaine could weigh more than.
