Mostly sunny weekend, coastal advisories continue

Santo Domingo.- A weak low pressure system combined with the prevailing east wind will bring widely scattered to moderate showers, mainly to the North, Northeast, Southeast and the Central Mountains.

In Friday’s forecast, the National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) says the rest of the country can expect partly cloudy skies, with low possibility of rain on the weekend.

ONAMET also continues advisories for the Atlantic and Caribbean coasts, where small craft should stay near shore on higher than normal waves.

It adds that boats in Samaná Bay shouldn’t venture out to sea.
