Spring brings mild temps, widely scattered showers
SANTO DOMINGO. – Spring starts today with mild temperatures during the early evening and morning hours, from the prevailing Northeast winds, the National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts Tuesday.
It said the winds combined with a low pressure system will bring widely scattered to moderate showers in the afternoon and evening, more frequent in the North, Northeast, Southeast, Central Mountains and the border zone.
It also cautioned on the possibility of electrical storms and strong gusts of wind.
