Drug trafficker arrested at Puerto Plata airport

Puerto Plata, DR.– The National Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) yesterday arrested a man with nine packages of cocaine in his luggage as he tried to take a flight to New York at the Puerto Plata International Airport.

Anthony Domingo Rojas Ortiz, 22, was arrested by narcotics agents before boarding the flight 812 of Jet Blue. The operation was carried out by DNCD agents and Port Security Corps (CESEP).
