Santo Domingo.- Burglars broke into the communications office PRD party presidential candidate Hipólito Mejía and stole three laptops, a plasma, DVDs and campaign documents, local media report.

Communications office director Ernesto Fabre said the facility, in the second floor of Plaza Merengue, on the corner of Tiradentes and 27 de Febrero avenues, is used by Mejia’s campaign as a call center for the social networks, edit videos and issue media statements.

He said the unidentified burglars left a note stating “we’re going to kill you all” and ripped open file cabinets he said contained important work documents.
