Medina calls Mejía a “pickpocket”

New York.– Speaking last night at the United Palace Theatre in upper Manhattan, the ruling PLD presidential candidate Danilo Medina responded to allegations of corruption against the government, comparing Hipolito Mejía with a "pickpocket."

Before thousands of followers Medina said his rival in the opposition PRD party Hipólito Mejía "has no initiatives, but a swirl of confusion in his mind."

"I have not heard a single measure on what he will do with the problems of the Dominican Republic," said Medina, who led a massive support event at the historic Broadway theater that was filled to capacity.
