Aqueduct main fixed, the capital gets water

Santo Domingo.- The districts which for several days had a shortage of piped water after the rupture of a 67 inch pipe from the aqueduct at Valdesia were resupplied starting 7am Sunday.

From impoverished Villa Francisca in the east to the upscale Los Cacicazgos to the west residents began to fill their tanks and do piled laundry and wash their vehicles.
